Vice President, Programs & Partnerships

Sunny leads the design and development of NAS programs. Together with the NAS leadership team and board, she guides the organization’s strategy and fundraising. Sunny’s emphasis is on co-creation, designing and leading processes for NAS to work in partnership with its community to create transformational learning experiences. She co-designs programs with and for artists, entrepreneurs, and arts leaders of all kinds. Some of her proudest moments at NAS include leading Creative Community Fellows, NAS Homecoming, and The Project.

Sunny is a nationally recognized facilitator and a leadership coach. Her degrees are from Butler University and American University, with additional training from Harvard Business School, University of Michigan-Ross School of Business, Interaction Institute for Social Change, and DC Peace Team, and Emergent Strategy Ideation Institute. She served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Togo, where she focused on supporting community micro-lending structures and advancing community goals through the arts.
