National Arts Strategies (NAS) is excited to announce the 101 arts leaders accepted into the 2019 Executive Program in Arts & Culture Strategy. The class, which represents 3 countries, 31 states and the District of Columbia, is the largest in program history.
Begun in 2015, the Executive Program in Arts & Culture Strategy is a partnership between NAS and the University of Pennsylvania to provide an actionable and skills-based curriculum in a blended environment of online learning and in-person convenings at the University of Pennsylvania. Upon completion, students are awarded a certificate in cultural leadership recognizing their advanced studies in arts administration.
From Burlington to Hong Kong, the class of 2019 will spend the next eight months learning from University of Pennsylvania faculty and experienced practitioners in courses on strategy, finance, management, fundraising, social media, evaluation and more. These leaders are driven to advance their work in the arts and culture field by strengthening their leadership capacities and expanding their knowledge of management tools.
