Leadership and Convergence Faculty

Leadership and Convergence brings all of the expertise, resources, and connections of the Stephen M. Ross School of Business and the University of Michigan to focus on the arts and cultural sector. The Ross School is consistently one of the highest-ranked business schools in the country, and boasts one of the nation's top-ranked executive education programs. The school blends academic strength with intensive development of the applied leadership capabilities that produce extraordinary results in a rapidly changing business world. Program faculty


Horst Abraham is a member of the Executive Education faculty at the Ross School of Business. He is the president and managing partner of the Paragon Group, an international consulting group dedicated to creating high performance in individuals, groups, and organizations.

Paula J. Caproni teaches leadership, interpersonal skills and team development courses for the Ross School of Business. She has also taught in the Brazil, Hong Kong and Asia global MBA programs offered by Ross as well as BBA, MBA and executive courses for the Helsinki School of Economics in Finland.

Jeff DeGraff teaches MBA and Executive Education courses on managing creativity, innovation and change at the Ross School of Business. He is also a core faculty member in the University of Michigan Center for Leadership, Change and Innovation. He has more than 25 years experience in building brands, guerrilla marketing, innovative new products, strategic planning, E-commerce and turnarounds.

Gordon Hewitt's interests cover the fields of global competition and the development of new frameworks for creating corporate value and competitive advantage. He has taught at many leading business schools in Europe and the USA, including Michigan, Carnegie Mellon and Duke.

Thomas C. Kinnear is the Eugene Applebaum Professor of Entrepreneurial Studies, Executive Director of the Samuel Zell and Robert H. Lurie Institute of Entrepreneurial Studies and Professor of Marketing at the Ross School of Business. He is also the Chairperson of the Board of Directors for the American Marketing Association.

Raymond R. Reilly is Associate Dean of the Ross School of Business. His research focuses on corporate performance measurement. Titles of recent papers include "Measurement: Using a Measure Network to Understand and Deliver Value," "Improving the Quality of Performance Information," and "Performance Measurement for Working Capital Management."
