Dennis R. Young is Bernard B. and Eugenia A. Ramsey
Professor of Private Enterprise and Director of the
Nonprofit Studies Program at the Andrew Young School
of Policy Studies at Georgia State University. He
is also President of the National Center on Nonprofit
Enterprise and founding editor of the journal Nonprofit
Management and Leadership. His research interests
include the management and economics of nonprofit
organizations. His recent books include The Music
of Management: Applying Organization Theory (2004),
Wise Economic Decision-Making in Uncertain Times:
Using Nonprofit Resources Effectively (2006)
and Financing Nonprofits: Putting Theory into
Practice (2006).
